The Dental Quality Assurance Commission (DQAC) will hold its next business meeting on Friday, Dec. 11 at 8:30 AM.

On Nov. 30, Gov. Jay Inslee and the Washington State Department of Health announced the launch of WA Notify, an anonymous exposure notification tool to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The American Dental Association is urging dentists to take action and tell Congress to pass a new COVID-19 relief package by the end of the year.

Proclamation 20-24.2 does not enact any additional restriction or limitation on the delivery of dental care or health care more broadly. Instead, the Governor’s Office is empowering health care providers to self-regulate capacity for care based upon parameters outlined in the proclamation. A detailed summary can be found here.

Last week, several media outlets incorrectly reported that non-urgent medical and dental procedures are suspended beginning Dec. 3. WSDA would like to assure providers and patients that these reports are incorrect.
